Hi , thank you for viewing my career portfolio, My name is Palesa Thulo. I am currently based in Germiston looking for a job in Information Technology(System Development. I am an aspiring analyst developer. I am a hard working and goal driven person, very strong character and a very good communicator. I have a strong will to learn new things and enhance my skills, both in IT and related fields. I have accumulated my skills though work experince and through self cultivation with research and trials with error methods. I did an internship at SADPMR where i got to be part of the inhouse projects. Both on desktop support and development and system analysis.

Position :ICT Intern
Year :1 April 2019-31 March 2020
Duties :ASP.net, C#, SQL , bootstrap, Desktop support, System Analysis (help Convert user requirement to code and data entities) create test cases, training users, and setting up the boardrooms for meetings. I got involved in the biggest ICT projects, where i accumulated the development and both system and network. I had great mentors with year of experince in the field to guide me through my internship.

Duties :Teaching English to the kids and adults of different schools, teaching kids from 3 years old to adults 30 years of age.

Reutlwahetse Secondary School

I went to Re-utlwahetse Secondary school, where i did my matric in 2007, majored in Mathematics, Physical Science and biology. with 3 languages (Sesotho, English and Afrikaans).

Subjects :System Analysis and development, internet programming and network design. My 3rd year project was to create a time tracking system for a company in Durban using (c#, SQL,webforms,html,css, Agile methodology) where they had to track the time of employees when they are working at home and or off teh company premises, I was given the task to do the system interface as i was doing internet programming, create stored procedures using SQL and also create reports , where we used crystal reports and later decided to use report viewer,SSRS.

Being in china for a chinese scholarship was one of the character building situiation for me, even though i was there for language, i enrolled on the system analysis classes as it is what i am passionate about and revive my skills. I was also chosen to be the foreigners student leader(2017-2018) in the school.
